AI Content & Data Usage Policy

Where the studio stands, stated plainly. Last updated October 16, 2026.

1. Our Position on Language Models

We are outraged at the current implementation of language models and artificial intelligence across the technology industry.

We do not use language models in any customer-facing aspect of the Monsireaux Studio, and we never intend to begin such implementations. There is no chatbot, no generative assistant, and no model-generated content on any surface a customer or subscriber can reach.

Language models have the ability to be genuinely useful when deployed properly and under the right circumstances. We do not believe that is what is happening now.

2. Data Centres, Heat, and the Atmosphere

The consumption of water is a major concern of the data centre, artificial intelligence, and language model projects that surround us. We should also be concerning ourselves with the heat they generate. That heat has to go somewhere, and it will go into our atmosphere.

The Earth is a semi-closed looping system. Heat accumulates. Global temperatures are already rising due to greed and over-consumption, and there is certainly a better way.

It is the official belief of the Monsireaux Studio that large-scale data centres belong in space rather than on our planet, and that they should never be built on the surface of a planet.

3. Energy, Sustainability, and Stewardship

We believe society should work toward divesting from fossil fuels and toward relying on and investing in renewables: solar, wind, geothermal, tidal, and more.

We believe society should work toward preserving the natural environment for the generations yet to come by improving our sustainability practices.

We should be working on balancing the global temperature, on balancing the weather to mitigate destructive storms and prevent disasters such as Hurricane Katrina and so many more, and on preserving our most miraculous coastlines and interiors.

4. Regulation

What we are currently experiencing with large language models is similar to the dot-com bubble, but language models will be here to stay. We should therefore work together to get our governments to enforce the proper regulations.

What is currently happening is that government processes are being prohibited from regulating artificial intelligence, both by heavy monetary influence within government and by slow government response times in general.

Artificial intelligence and large language model companies — OpenAI with ChatGPT, Anthropic with Claude, Google with Gemini, and others — are selling the concept of a technological wonder. We are easily sold the ideas of dreams, and we have misused these tools, and continue to misuse them.

5. What We Do Use

Nothing, today. The studio's automated assistant and its AI-backed tooling are switched off and hidden: no such feature runs on any staff or customer surface.

Should that ever change, any such use stays confined to staff surfaces, is never exposed to customers, and is disclosed here before it is switched on.

We do not train models on customer data, we do not sell customer data, and we do not feed customer content to third-party model providers.

6. Our Own Creative Work

Content published by the Monsireaux Studio is made by people. Where any assisted tooling is used in our own production process, it is disclosed on the piece.
