Copyright & Copyleft Policy

Rights reserved, and rights shared. Last updated October 16, 2026.

1. Copyright

All works of authorship published by Monsireaux Atelier Company, a Colorado Public Benefit Corporation are protected by copyright from the moment of creation, whether or not a notice appears on them.

Copyright in the Monsireaux Studio Platform, its source code, its design, its marks, and its published content is held by the company.

2. Copyleft

Our open-source software and games are released under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0, a strong copyleft licence. In practical terms: you may run, study, share, and modify the software, and if you distribute a modified version — or run one as a network service — you must release your version under the same licence and make the source available to its users.

Copyleft exists to keep shared work shared. We adopt it deliberately.

3. Content Licence

Published editorial and catalogue content is licensed CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 — attribution, non-commercial, no derivatives. See the Intellectual Property Allocation Policy.

4. Notices and Takedown

If you believe material on the Platform infringes your copyright, contact [email protected] with the work in question, the location of the material, and your contact details. We will investigate and act where warranted.

5. Reporting Our Own Errors

If we have attributed your work incorrectly or used it outside its licence, tell us and we will correct or remove it.
